Mike Witchell

Managing Director

Mike has been Managing Director for AIS BMS since November 2014. He has a wealth of industry knowledge, commercial skills and experience and is passionate about AIS BMS delivering first class service, maintenance and energy solutions to our clients. Mike graduated from the University of Hertfordshire with a BEng (hons) in Aerospace Engineering and has been working in the HVAC and controls industry for over 23 years.

Jason Curtis

Business Development Manager

Jason joined the AIS BMS team as Business Development Manager in May 2015. Jason is responsible for growing our sales and driving our exciting building performance and energy management solutions to the wider market. Having worked in the industry for over 13 years previously for a systems integrator business and more recently for a major BEMS manufacturer, Jason has extensive experience in BMS service contracts, energy audits and small works and has a fantastic track record of success.

Paul Lyczba

Service Manager

Paul joined the AIS BMS team as Service Manager in April 2016. He has a very strong track record in BEMS field service, from starting out as an apprentice through to service engineering and management. He has a strong collaborative approach and is a great asset to the AIS BMS team.

Mike Palmer

Projects Manager

Mike has over 30 years’ experience in the industry and has spent much of his time as a BMS engineer. Mike has worked for numerous companies within the industry and has been with AIS BMS for nearly three years. Mike has a wealth of experience within small works, project management and has a strong client focus.

Victoria Palmer

Office Manager

Vicky has been with AIS BMS over four years and has recently completed her Level 3 Diploma in Management. Vicky manages our administration team and is extremely experienced in contract administration and resource planning. She is also responsible for all matters related to ISO accreditation and certifications with other organisations.

Hayley Smith

Group HR Manager

A member of the CIPD, Hayley Smith joined the Acorn Group in 2013 and became Group HR Manager in 2014. With 19 years of human resources experience and extensive generalist experience gained through working at both large and small companies. Hayley's employment history includes positions such as Human Resources Manager for Urban Golf and Human Resources Business Partner for GE aligned with legal services and retail.

Leanne Lamerton

Group Marketing Manager

Leanne joined Acorn in March 2015 as our Group Marketing Manager and has brought with her over 12 years’ experience working in B2B communications and marketing. She oversees the Group marketing department and ensures the delivery of the communications and marketing strategy for the business. She has a BSc (Hons) in Management Science 2(i) and previously spent seven years working for Balfour Beatty in a similar role. Leanne enjoys developing relationships with key stakeholders and works closely with the rest of the management team.
