Role & Responsibilities

  • To attend sites as required to service BMS and Discreet control systems, carry out Small Works Projects or Remedial Works.
  • To carry out control panel modifications and installations as required.
  • To advise clients on potential improvements and recommendations for their system.
  • To amend software and/or graphics pages as required.
  • To have regular communication with the Service Coordinators to ensure all aspects of works are dealt with in a timely manner and no element gets overlooked. To engage in each afternoon’s Daily Catch Up process, whereby you discuss your day’s work with your own Coordinator, along with ensuring you are fully briefed on the next day’s requirements.
  • To attend Call Outs and Breakdowns as required.
  • To attend Job Chats with own Line Manager and Service Meetings as and when scheduled, allowing valuable feedback and discussion on team and personal progress and providing the forum to discuss ways of improving our procedures and service offering
  • To attend regular gatherings of the Service Team to strengthen the team spirit and maintain good relationships with all members of staff.
  • To be on the Call Out Rota, being contactable and able to attend site without delay when either the First or Second Engineer on Call.
  • To submit daily service reports detailing works carried out and any recommendations or remedial items needed, ensuring part numbers, time needed and any other relevant information is provided to enable the administration team to produce the required quotation.
  • To communicate via phone, email, BBM or fax, keeping the Office aware of progress, any site problems or requirements, and to be contactable whenever working or On Call.
  • To ensure you work safely in accordance with the company Health & Safety Policy and procedures.
  • To ensure the delivery of the highest levels of customer service associated with your roles and responsibilities
